Pre-Care Advice

To get the absolute most out of your home application, preparing your body is key:

• Hydration: In the days leading up to your application, ensure you are drinking at least 2 litres of water a day. Because optimal hydration is essential, this step is vital for efficient lymphatic drainage and fluid movement.

• Alcohol: In contrast, alcohol should be strictly avoided for 24 hours before your application, and ideally up to 48 hours afterward.

• Exfoliation: On the day of your treatment, thoroughly exfoliate the target area for a couple of minutes using an exfoliating mitt or dry brush. As a result, this removes dead skin cells and opens the pores, allowing the gel to effectively enter the skin.

Home Application Protocol

1. To begin, take your weight and measurements on Day 1 before you start so you can accurately track your silhouette’s progress.

2. Following this, apply a few pumps (approximately 10ml) of Liquid Lipo Topical Contouring Gel to an average-sized target area (such as the abdomen).

3. Massage firmly for 5 minutes until the product begins to feel “tacky” to the touch.

4. Then, wrap the area securely in standard cling film (this is optional and cling film is not included in the kit).

5. For optimal contouring results, wear supportive shapewear, a waist trainer, or tight gym attire over the top of the film. Specifically, leave this in place for at least 2 hours.

What to Expect During Treatment

Note: You will feel a cold, tingling sensation, which is completely normal because the active chemical reaction is stimulating the skin layers.

After-Care Advice

• Flush with Water: Following your session, you must drink 2 litres of water. Therefore, you support your system in flushing out any released toxins and fluids.

• Headache Prevention: However, if you do not drink enough water post-treatment, you may develop a minor headache due to mild dehydration. If this occurs, simply increase your fluid intake.

• Skin Sensitivity: You may notice some slight skin sensitivity or redness following the wrap. Nevertheless, this is entirely normal and typically fades within a few hours.

• Alcohol Restrictions: Avoid alcohol for 24 hours after your treatment. Since the body processes alcohol before anything else, drinking will temporarily stop the contouring process from working.

• One Area at a Time: Finally, because the lymphatic system can only process a certain amount of fluid at once, only wrap one part of the body per session.
